Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011, after playing a few small roles she played on Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. Following her award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panels, and is becoming a mainstay. In 2016 through 2017, she served as a captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant for the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was the second woman ever to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. She uses the surnamed Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who died when Bea was just three years old though she was not told what happened to him until she reached the age of thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up within the home of Helen Moloney, a instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. Her family were fascinated by racing and horses. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for doing and not racing.
